Dear Church,
I hope you are having a blessed week.
I have been thinking about One Church and how God in His grace has brought us together to fulfill His purposes. At times, I find myself confused and intimidated by the challenges that come with leading a Church. But not once I have doubted that God brought us here, and that you and I are part of God’s plan for this time.
I have confidence that you will continue to pray, give, and serve in any capacity here at One Church. As long as we put Him first in everything we do, He promises to provide everything we need to fulfill our mission.
There will be times of testing, but those times will only make us stronger. I hope to see you soon at one of our services, and pray that God will strengthen you in every way as you navigate life. I am convinced that we are stronger together. It is God’s design.

There is a basket in The Commons this month where cards, letters, gift cards and other forms of appreciation are being collected. You can also give love offerings through donations to One Church, marked for Pastor Appreciation. Let’s show our pastors how much they are loved and appreciated! See below for info about how we will honor them as a church next Sunday, October 26.
*The district-licensed pastors are those who are on the path to ordination in the Church of the Nazarene and are recognized as "pastor" through educational classes and ministry in our local church.

The pastors will be honored on the 26th during the worship services, followed by a potluck lunch at approximately 12:30 pm. Bring sides to go with BBQ brisket and pork (provided). Please have your food at the church by 12:15 so it will be ready to serve. Beverages provided.

Join the Fun - Plan to join us for this fun, annual event with games, hot dogs, candy, bounce house, cake walk and more! Teal pumpkins and non-food treats will be available for allergies/sensitivities. Family-friendly costumes welcome!

Childcare is provided (birth - pre-K) beginning at 8:45 am. MOPS is a global faith-based mentorship and Bible study program. Join us for the next session on October 23.

Wed | Nov 5 | 9:30 am | Location: One Church
All women are invited to join us at One Church on November 5. Teri Stokes will be leading the group in a Christmas card craft. Coffee and pastries will be served. Join this event on the first Wednesday of every month. Watch this source each month for location details.

Women’s Ministry will again be hosting the silent auction fundraiser during our annual All-Church Cook-off to be held November 23. (More details coming!).
Ideas for auction items needed (new or gently used): Jewelry, homemade items, gift baskets, tickets for entertainment or sporting events, gift certificates for restaurants, services, etc., Christmas items, food items, etc. Item donations are also needed for the children's table where items will be priced at $0.25 - $1.00. Suggested items include gently used toys, hot wheel cars, trading cards, books, etc. Bring item donations to the church anytime between now and Nov 23.

Winter Retreat is a place where memories are made, commitments are discovered and explored, and life is experienced in a whole new way. We cannot wait to see what God has in store for our youth.

All men are invited on the last Saturday of each month. Plan to come together here at the church to start the day with a good meal and a great bunch of guys! Breakfast will be provided. Donations are suggested to underwrite the food cost.
