Reflecting on God's Vision for the Church
This past Sunday was refreshing in many ways. I was pleased to see new faces among us. God is moving in our midst!
On Sunday, we explored God's vision for the church, emphasizing that it is not merely a human organization, but a divine institution. I highlighted that the church is the body of Christ, the temple of God, and the new Israel. This understanding has profound implications for our spiritual life, reminding us of our sacred calling and the importance of unity in Christ.
- The church is the body of Christ, emphasizing our interconnectedness and the need for unity based on our common devotion to Jesus.
- As the temple of God, we are called to live by different standards than the world, offering our lives as living sacrifices.
- The church is God's chosen instrument to establish His kingdom on earth, making our mission to make disciples crucial.
As we move forward, let's remember that we are part of something much greater than ourselves. Our church isn't just a social gathering, but a living organism through which God works to transform lives and communities.
May we be encouraged and challenged to live out our calling as the church, always keeping Christ at the center of all we do.

All teens, young adults, and anybody who feels like a young adult are invited to join Jeremy and others on Thursdays this summer for “open gym” nights with games and sports. Invite a friend!

Men’s Breakfast
Saturday | July 26 | 8:00 am
All men are invited on the last Saturday of each month. Plan to come together at the church to start the day with a good meal and a great bunch of guys! Breakfast is provided. Donations are suggested to underwrite the food cost.

VBS - Vacation Bible School: Slimed
- Register: Click HERE. For PreK and kids who have just finished kindergarten - 5th grade. Through the life of Jacob, kids will learn that God can make something beautiful out of any slimy situation.
- Volunteers:
- Sign Up: To sign up for the job of your choice for VBS, click HERE. Whether you would like to teach or help in some other way, there are various spots still available.
- Light Meal Provided: Each night of VBS, there will be a light dinner provided for all volunteers at 5:15-6:00 pm. (Enough for your own children as well.)
- Workday: Saturday | July 26 | 9:00 am - Noon
- Informational Meeting: Sunday | July 27 | 3:00 pm
